My fiance is from Denver and we were in town visiting some of her old friends. She was very excited to take me to Teds (this was my first time in Colorado) and made our reservation well in advance. I'm a big steak eater so I was really excited to try the place. There were about seven of us all together and our waitress was pretty good (she scored one of those two stars herself - one of the few highlights of the evening). The drinks came out quick and were very good but the paper straws were hit/miss. My first straw pretty much disintegrated into the drink. Not pleasant. The food order took over an hour to arrive and when it did, my steak (which I ordered as medium) came out almost raw. It was sitting in a pool of blood/juice and was stone cold and uncooked in the center. The other steak order at out table also came out under-cooked (it's a pet peeve of mine that a steak comes out under-cooked after taking that long to get to the table) but not quite as bad as mine. The waitress apologized profusely and took both orders back to the kitchen. When they came back, mine was still pretty badly under-cooked but had also clearly been heated up in the microwave as it was now hard and rubbery. My friend's steak came out decent the second time so I just pushed the steak to the side and ate the potato which also turned out to be under-cooked (warmish on the outside but stone cold in the center) and the roasted carrots which were also cold but had warm butter drizzled on them. Under-cooked potatoes and carrots was a theme all the way around the table. Much to her credit, the waitress came back to the table on her own accord and mentioned that my steak actually looked worse than before. She apologized again and took it off the bill while offering me something else but at that point we had been there for quite a while and I didn't want to hold up our friends who had all been finished eating for almost 20 minutes at that point so we paid the bill and left. Very disappointing and we will not be eating here again when we return to Denver next month.

The Yankee Pot Roast is my favorite when I come her, and rarely get anything else. My House salad was made for rabbits, and they should have given me a soup spoon to eat it with. Tiny pieces. My wife had the Big Sky Grill salad with Salmon, adequate and not a favorite. Stick with the Bison in anything.

I really enjoy the atmosphere, as well as the reasonably priced and delicious food. I have had the bison burger, the salt and pepper trout, and tonight I ordered a bowl of the bison chili and half an order of Ted's chopped salad. The chili was outstanding and the chopped salad was delicious. I also love the complimentary homemade dill pickles that you can munch on while waiting for your meal. It's one of our family's favorite restaurants!

Second time I dined at this restaurant and both times have been positive. The service is good and just sitting at the bar and enjoying food and drink is very informal and relaxing. The bartenders are great and very attentive w/o rushing you at all.Great place for a dinner and by the way the onion rings are very good.

Each experience at Ted's has been a positive one. I have only ever frequented the Greenwood Village location so I am unable to compare it to other Ted's but the service has always been top-notch, the food fresh and tasty, and the patio is perfection! I have ordered: Homemade Chips-N'-Dip - Fresh-cut potato chips with creamy ranch onion dip which is SOOOOOO TASTY! My mom and I say this is like chip crack, it is absolutely amazing and a great starter! Previously I have ordered the Blue Creek Bison Burger with added grilled mushrooms. This is definitely a hearty portion and the meat is so tasty! Not gamey at all! Today I ordered the Absolute Best Fish Sandwich. The fish is extremely flakey and the tarter sauce is spot! My only complaint is that the oblong fish is served on a round bun so the ratios are a bit off and there was quite a bit of bread. I wound up just taking the fish off the bread all together which defeats the purpose of a sandwich but it was a bit too much and I am definitely a bread fan. Also, if you are dining in, you are treated to their homemade pickles which I sprinkle a little salt on and devour the entire bowl! In addition, their fries are also homemade, a good cut, and cooked to a beautiful golden brown. They are not the crispiest of fries but I tend to order them extra crispy anywhere I go.

This place was great! They are known for their bison. I had the bison burger with guacamole and fresh jalapeños. You get your choice of sides and I got a side salad. The bison burger was so tender... It was delicious. My dad got the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. He mentioned the broccoli was super good and had a mesquite flavor to it and was not over done. Lemon drop martini was great! Customer service was great too!

I really was surprised the first time I tried Ted's, not because I was expecting something less than a good meal, but because there were a lot of little pieces that came together to form a really enjoyable experience. Upon trying it a second time, I am pleased to report that there is consistency of quality here. Both times I have been in were during lunch, but I imagine that the sentiments would carry over to the dinner service as well. They do a number of things right: - very clean establishment - super friendly and professional staff - cooks are not afraid to use a little salt in their dishes (most restaurants I need to add at least a little... not here) - food is very reasonably prices considering the quality, portion, and flavor My server on this occasion was Kara, and she was great! Very attentive, and demonstrated genuine concern for our experience. Great place for a business lunch.

I felt dressed down in my casual attire but everything else was packed on a friday night surrounding this restaurant. This is a trendy area of Denver Tech Center. I was there for business and after a long day, needed something to eat. The Bison Meatloaf was good. Great presentation. I was not expecting that. Had a local colorado beer with dinner which went well with the dark sauce served with the meatloaf. I would return if traveling to Denver in the future.

It had been awhile since I've been to a Ted's, but I was excited remembering their briny cucumbers and tasty Bison burgers. We went early on a Saturday for lunch, stood up front waiting to be acknowledged by the chatty staff in back. Finally, we were seated and our waitress was sweet enough. Ordered our drinks. Ordered our food: bison burgers medium. I was excited to stray from my normal New Mexico and try the Red Rock (after I was assured their Z-Sauce was not like ketchup). Hubby ordered his burger sans bun. We both chose coleslaw as our side. Sliders and mac n cheese for my kids. The food took awhile to come out, but we were distracted playing with the bendy, sticky kids' things they give you. Finally, waitress brought our food and quickly took off. We eagerly started eating, only to notice that BOTH of our burgers were NOT medium, in fact they were well done. And anyone who knows anything about bison knows to never cook it well done, it dries out! So, we waited a couple minutes hoping our waitress would return, not only to check on us but to hopefully fill our woefully empty drinks. Nothing. Waited a bit more, screw it, we'll just eat it so we can get out of here. Finished our food. Still no waitress. We must have watched the waiter for a nearby table check on them no less than 3 times in this period of time. My husband had to get up and go find our waitress to request the check. She came back with the bill, no asking how our food was or if we needed anything else. Apparently my husband had to interrupt her chatting with one of the cooks- so sorry. At this point, I asked for a refill on my iced tea- I was thirsty! She sweetly offered to put it in a to-go cup, um thanks. This was an exceptionally disappointing trip to Ted's. You spend $50 for lunch, and you tend to expect a little more for your money. Instead we were ignored and served well done bison.

As good as it gets... the best bison chili and bison burgers in the country. I could eat here every day. Service and drinks are top notch as well.

The food here is ordinary and the prices high. A splurge on a rib-eye steak was disappointing, as the meat was so gristly it was inedible. The gluten-free menu doesn't offer much.

I realize this is a meat-lovers kind of place, but I wish they had more options outside of red meat. Ninety-percent of their menu is burgers (not option of turkey or veggie - only Beef or Bison), then the rest is a mixture of fish, steaks, and pork. Not eating red meat, I would have loved one of the great burger creations but with turkey or veggie burger. Of what I ordered, the Pecan Crusted Trout, I would rate it a 3. It was HUGE and heavily crusted, but the flavor was still decent. I appreciated how they allowed you to substitute the sides for no additional costs. I loved the onion rings and the asparagus. Service was also average, nothing spectacular but no outright negatives either.

I've been to this Ted's 3 times in the last six months. The first time we sat at a table and really had no problems and the food was good. The next two times however was not the same. The second time we went there the table service was HORRIBLE. I actually sent a letter to the management explaining what we experienced vs sharing it publicly. I received an apology and a gift card to try again. We went in last week and experienced similar poor service as the last time. This time we sat at the bar. *First we ordered a bottle of wine to split. This clearly threw the bartender off and she opened a bottle and poured us to glasses to the rim - no tasting offered etc. * After ordering our meal I finally asked for some pickles because none had been brought. * We had to ask to get a glass of water. * Our food came and we needed condiments but NO ONE came and checked on us to ask if everything was ok. We finally flagged someone down to get assistance. * After our meal, we were asked if we wanted dessert. Our answer. Maybe in a bit before our wine was gone. * Neither of the bartenders ever came back by. Our wine was empty, our water was empty and we sat like that for 10 minutes until the bartender did a drive by and just dropped the check - never asked if we wanted anything else. At a minimum we needed some additional water!!! * We paid and left and went down the street to have dessert since we couldn't get service at Ted's. I really wrote the first time of poor service off as a fluke, the second time tells me there is some serious training that needs to occur. Interesting my complaints were almost EXACTLY the same last time. No one came by after food dropped, had to ask for water repeatedly as we would sit there with nothing to drink etc.. Not going back again.

I went here recently with my boyfriend and we got the bison burgers. They were cooked correctly and tasted delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and the food isn't over priced. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place isn't too bad. I haven't been here in five years, and the only drawback is the restaurant hasn't changed or improved at all, so the menu was a little tired but the food was alright.

During my visit to Colorado on a business trip, I asked about a great place to grab a bite. This place was recommended as a place to grab a good meal, especially the Bison. My co-worker and I decided to try something different and paid the place a visit. It was located in an upscale location in the area. The restaurant was a classy place. The waitress was friendly and attentive. They gave you some garlic tasting cucumbers before the meal which were actually good. Especially coming from a person who does not prefer cucumbers. I decided on the Bison short rib with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. My co-worker got the 11 ounce bison steak. The food was good. The Bison taste like a lean version of beef. I tasted a piece of the steak and this was also well prepared. I topped it off with a brownie with ice cream. The desert was huge so I did not finish it off. Overall this was a good meal.

No. When the meat tastes rancid even after sending it back ... NO. When you order your burger medium rare and it comes out RAW, and while your companion orders his medium and it comes out medium well ... again, NO. Drinks from the bar were good even though the service could have been better. Drinks ought to be refilled quickly and the check should be brought and handled in good timing. This was not the case. Management was apologetic and accommodating when the food was returned, and comped most of the check, which is good business all the way around. But good management does not a decent burger make, and Ted's, at those prices, you really do need to learn how to make a decent hamburger. With meat that doesn't taste like it will kill me.

My husband and I live close to another Ted's that has become one of our favorite restaurants to eat because we both get something we want and always leave happy. This was not the case last night at the restaurant in Greenwood Village. We started out ordering crab cakes as an appetizer as our server suggested and were surprised when a single small crab cake was placed in front of us. We checked the menu and saw that it was indeed supposed to be a solitary crab cake, but our server hadn't told us so. We ordered the same dinner we always order; my husband the Cranberry Chicken and me the Bleu steak salad. Here's the description of the salad from their menu: Grilled Certified Angus® beef sirloin, mixed greens, cucumber, crumbled Bleu cheese, smoky bacon, sliced vine-ripened tomatoes and a sweet balsamic glaze, topped with crispy fried onion straws. Sounds delicious right? What was put in front of me was a small house salad with iceberg lettuce, 2 slices of tomato a single large chunk on blue cheese and small piece of steak. No bacon, no cucumber, no mixed greens. When I sat staring at my salad in surprise my server asked if there was a problem and I told her the salad didn't look the way it normally does. She then said "Well, it isn't a very big salad." On the contrary, the same salad at the Ted's we normally go to I can rarely finish. This one however, I finished and left the restaurant hungry. Then add to it the chicken my husband normally devours, was dry and didn't taste very good. $100 later, we left unsatisfied and still hungry. There needs to be some serious quality control done at this location, because their standards are simply no up to par. Seriously, how can you mess up a salad?

Delicious! Amazing bison burgers for not bad pricing. A rather boogie atmosphere...fancy casual. Not a place I go to often because of the price, but when I feel like a good bison burger then this place is my go to.

"I think the only reason you like Ted's is because of the straws." It might be true. After I got home from work after a lunch out at Ted's, it was really the only thing I talked about. They're cardboard, you see, and therefore biodegradable. I get excited when restaurants (especially those you'd least expect it from) add a few sustainable touches. I also really like their pickles. The bring out a dish of half pickled pickles (more like cucumber soaking in brine, really) before your meal like it's bread. And I eat them all like they're bread. Veggie options are a bit more sparse, but they're there. They have a dish where you can choose four sides for $11 (unfortunately, both creamed spinach and homestyle green beans are not vegetarian but I was glad the server mentioned it) and you can also sub a veggie patty for any of their burgers and the burger creations are very vast and tempting. Unfortunately they're also pretty spendy at about $12 for a beef (and I'm assuming veggie) patty and closer to $17 for bison. You probably get what you pay for though. I'm a fan of the squash casserole and the asparagus had a nice roasted flavor. I could take or leave the onion rings. The batter is more tough than crispy. The true star is the cookie and it's an easy dessert to take and go. I took a snickerdoodle back to the office to enjoy all afternoon and it was perfect - a soft inside and crispy (but not burnt) edges. I would really put Ted's at a 3.5 since there are some things I'm a huge fan of, but it's really not on the same level as my other four star favorites so I'll stick with three. I'd definitely go back though, if only for pickles, cookies, and cardboard straws.

Extremely mediocre. Been to Ted's a few times in Atlanta, this place is a real disappointment. Service slow, although I was the only person at the bar. Burger was not good. I'd have been better off going to LarkBurger for 1/2 the cost and twice the flavor and better service too. Crossed Ted's off my list for my next 5 months traveling to Denver, Monday - Friday. Place needs a "good scrubbing" too. Ketchup bottles were messy and not appealing.

I go to Ted's often for lunch. I have a former coworker who just loves their burgers--so he always wants to go there. I have to say that I have never had a bad experience at Ted's. Consistency in quality of food and service is very impressive to me. I've had the burgers (really delicious - I've had the regular and the bison burger). I've had their fish and chips and many salads as well. Their portions are very generous the food is always well prepared. They also give you pickles. I don't always like pickles, but their pickles are refreshing. The service is always prompt and friendly and they always keep you drink filled.

I don't get the appeal...its like Chili's added buffalo to their menu and renamed the restaurant. Not worth the snooty service or prices.

I ate at Ted's for the first time last night, and it was an okay experience. The food was good, our waitress provided decent service overall... but... ehh... the restaurant just has that chain-feel to it. Ted's has fifty locations across the country. Frankly I feel like there are much better locally-owned alternatives in the area. We were some of the only diners at 6.00p on a Thursday; the place was pretty dead. Instead of bringing rolls or chips to your table when you're seated, Ted's serves thick house-made pickles. Cool. And then we began our meal with onion rings--they were good! I ordered the Blue Creek bison burger, and it was generously topped with bleu cheese and smoky bacon. The food was fresh and tasty, but it didn't blow me away. For 1/3 of the price of the onion rings + burger & fries = about $20 which is quite expensive, really. Service was okay. My only complaint: as our waitress dropped our cards back off at our table at the end of the meal, she didn't even say thank you or goodbye. Annoying much? Kinda, yeah. I guess she was just focused on getting to her next table. If I'm with friends and they want to go to Ted's, I'll happily go along. However, if the restaurant choosing is up to me, I'll probably pick somewhere else.

When I entered, I was impressed by the atmosphere. Our waitress was delightful. And, it was downhill from there. I guess it was my error to order bison nachos. There was less than 1/4 cup of bison chile on top--just chips and more chips. My friend's chicken burger was fried extra, extra crispy (I tasted it). No flavor. The other major problem was the the floor on the way to the restroom was very, very slick. Don't know why. I should have complained, but i hadn't talked with my friend for a long time.

We have eaten at a couple of Ted's. We were anxious to take our niece and her husband there. This was not a good Ted's at all. I was torn between a 1 and a 2 rating. The food was very average, the waiter not friendly. The one we ate at in Florida was awesome. Totally bummed and would not go back!!

Bison's burger with cheddar.............. Yummy. Went here for lunch with couple coworker. All 3 of us ordered the same thing Bison's burger with cheddar. We walked away so satifying. This is my first time here and first time eating Bison meat. 5 star for service - Our waitress is wonderful and nice 4.5 for the Food.

Really, really disappointed with Ted's today. Went in for a co-worker's farewell lunch and everything was basically a disaster. Got there at noon and was seated immediately but after that it was simply a train wreck. Chips were burnt, our food took well over an hour to come out and when it did, it was soggy, cold, and the fries were burnt as well. When we got back to the office, we had been gone for 2 hours. We're a business and this is in the DTC, a business area!, but today just wasn't very work lunch friendly. It's just surprising since I've eaten at Ted's many, many times and it's never been like this.

Aside from the occasional stroke of good burger fortune, Bison is rarely on the menu in California. So on our recent trip to Colorado we jumped at the chance to dig into some buffalo steaks. Ted's Montana Grill is apparently a chain, and there were several locations near our hotel. We arrived around 8, and the place wasn't very busy. The decor was dark and cavernous, the seats not all that comfortable. There was the obligatory buffalo head mounted on one wall. We were served promptly; the pre-appetizer of pickle chips - more like brined cucumbers - I liked, but my pickle-loving wife found lacking. Drink service was well maintained; I never emptied a glass before our server had provided a replacement. The appetizer of potato chips and dip was okay, but there was vastly more dip than chips, and there's no free refills. Although interesting, a simple chips and salsa would have gone down better. We all ordered the bison ribeye, medium. Mine was a perfect medium on the perimeter, but closer to rare in the center. It had good flavor, though in hindsight I'd have preferred the filet. I would have preferred fewer ounces of the better cut. A bit of Heinz 57 was a nice complement. I got the squash side, which was a bit dry and not much to write home about. The waiter didn't offer us dessert, which I found odd. All in all, a decent meal but nothing exceptional, particularly for the price. I'd go back, but would want to try a different location.

Every person has been in a situation where they are having dinner with several different people with differing tastes. There is always that o e person who doesnt like taking risks or doesnt like spicy, ete, etc. What do you do? You go to Teds. Not that this is a bad thing. Teds is a great all American restaurant with some modern sensibilities. As you go in you are welcomed to always professional service and a classy, man cave of a restaurant. I always feel good about eating here for several reasons. One, they have paper straws and other earth friendly products, which I think is just plain neat. Second, the food tastes healthy. Not saying the food is healthy, just saying it feels like a nice home cooked meal. Of course my mom never made a cranberry glaze with our roasted chicken nor did she add a touch of rosemary to the mash potatoes....sorry mom. Heck, even the bathroom has Eco friendly soap. Sounds weird to mention yet very appropriate way to begin and end your meal.

Delicious! Everything! My husband and I were going to a late movie so we decided to go here for a late dinner. It was quite and it felt very romantic without all the other people there. They give you these pickled cucumbers... yes pickled cucumbers, they are NOT pickles. These little things were amazing, we even took some home. Make sure you try their chips n dip too. Best homemade Ranch I have EVER had. I had the Turkey dinner, only offered on Sunday, and my hubby had the chili burger. We left full and happy. We will definitely be back!

This was my second time visiting this location and I was sort of hoping that it would have been a better experience. I think my 2 stars kind of show it wasn't. After a long day of bumming around at the stock show there was an interest in some steak (go figure) so we all thought that this would be the place to go. After vetoing the one downtown because it's Saturday night the 6 of us wound up here around 7:45. We were told there would be a wait so we hung out and then got seated. Service was not great, rather slow and seeing how the restaurant wasn't even half full there really wasn't an excuse for it. The heat kept going on and off which wouldn't have been a problem except COLD air would blow when the heat wasn't so we were all sitting at our table with our coats on which isn't exactly how I want to eat my dinner! Even after we asked people to do something about the air two different times nothing really got done about it. We ordered onion rings and home made chips and that was the bright spot of the evening for me. The dip for the chips was delicious! I asked about the special salad that they have and our server gave me the run down of what was in it and it sounded good so I ordered it. Two people ordered burgers done medium rare, there were two orders for steaks and a mac and cheese. Both burgers came out well done, one steak meal was done to my friends expectations, the other steak was cold and chewy, the mac and cheese was bland beyond belief and my salad was so spicy I couldn't even eat it (he failed to mention that there were roasted green chili's in the salad and spicy ranch dressing) My boyfriend ended up polishing off his burger and my salad so that wasn't a big deal and our server took back the other burger and the cold steak and re-cooked the burger but my friend with the steak had to pick something else because it had been the last piece of prime rib. They did end up taking off the one burger and steak from our bill and giving us a free dessert which was nice but there's not a chance that I'll be back to this location. Two trips here with some of the worst service, cold food and crap atmosphere tell me that there are better places to spend my money. Sorry Ted's.

I'm a big fan of Buffalo burgers and Ted's always serves a good one. I went to Ted's again yesterday with people from my office and was impressed with the quality of the food and the good service. If you go I suggest you order their home made chips and dip for an appetizer. You can't go wrong!

There is something about Ted's Montana Grill that I love. I suspect it is the Bison. I first tried Ted's in Colorado Springs a couple years ago and always look forward to trying it. So when I was in Denver I was happy to see that there was one nearby. Ted's is the same everywhere, from Manhatten to Colorado Springs. I love the private booths, the paper straws and the free half sours (Those partially pickled cucumbers that are just down right tasty!). The service at this Ted's reminded me why I like Teds beyond the food. The servers were prompt and courteous while being friendly as well. The food was good, Gotta have that Bison Pot Roast. A reasonable price (18.50) when talking bison and very tasty. The house garden salad isn't anything to write home about but the house made blue cheese dressing is worth a mention. Finally I have to say that giving me a clicky pen with Ted's emblazoned on it was probably the dinning highlight.

I absolutely love Ted's Montana Grill! I am not a huge burger person, but when I crave burgers, it's either Ted's or Del Friscos... I love this place because it is high class with great quality food. The atmosphere is very inviting and classy. The food is always consistenly AWESOME! I absolutely love the bison burgers and the buns (oatie) are fantastic. I hate over processed foods, and this place has fresh, wholesome ingredients. Their fries are even hand cut and don't taste like chemicals. Service is always efficient without being intrusive. The only thing I don't like (don't hate me, just a personal preference) are the paper straws. They get soggy half way through your bev.

Oh Ted's. How I dream about your shrimp appetizer served on a buttery, cheesy piece of toast. I have loved Ted's and have probably been to this location 3 times but last night, after having a party of 8 in for my friends birthday, I was super bummed. The wonderful Ted's I know used to be lavish Bison burgers, piled high with delicious toppings that were so decorative you had to figure out how to fit them all onto the actual burger in order to take a bite. My favorite has always been the Blue Creek, served with blue cheese and bacon with the usual lettuce tomato and pickles on the side. You also have a choice of potatoes, onion rings, or sweet potatoes (don't be fooled! the yams aren't on the menu but they have em') Last night the burger looked nothing short of burger king. With no presentational appeal and no unique tastiness that I usual get from Ted's. It was in fact soggy looking with a shortage of toppings. In my eyes it has gone downhill food wise. When I spend $13-16 on a burger or even more for the Bison I expect to get an outstanding burger. On the upside the service was awesome. Our waiter Yosh was amazing and met all of our needs before we even knew we had any. Cheers to the front of the house. They also have some tasty beers on tap. Other than those positives I am in no rush to return to this Ted's location.

I have eaten at this location three times. Two times the service was great, once it was not so good but the manager gave us dessert to make up for it. Everytime I have been here the food has been amazing. My personal favorite is the cedar salmon. I haven't had salmon as good for the price anywhere else. I also have had the chili cheese burger and one of the bison burgers (don't remember which it was, just that it had fresh jalapenos). As a side note, my wife absolutely loves the homemade pickles they serve. I would definitely recommend this place and will continue to eat here.

This location has the worst service I have had in a long time. Went with a party of 6 and absolutely no place to sit. Waiter tried to stick one of us in the walkway and the manager came up and said we can't sit here. Never even bothered to move us or get us another table. Just stared at us like it was our fault.

Btw. I saved the receipt from my visit and looked at it today (09/23/12) as a reminder to follow up... I wrote an email, shortly after my original review on Yelp, to the corporate customer service for Ted's, along with my cell phone number, and have not heard a word!!! Imagine that. A restaurant with poor service that cannot direct directly address their issues.

Truly the WORST service that I can recall ever having. They are clearly having problems with hiring or training staff. At lunch we arrived to a half empty restaurant and were greeted by the hostess. After greeting us she bruskly turned her back to us and talked privately with the other greeter for 5 minutes. Then abruptly she turned back again and said "follow me". At the table it only got worse. We asked the server about a glass of wine on their menu. She said - "let me get my cheat sheet". Then she returned with a pithy description of what a Chardonnay is - not quite the recommendation that we were looking for. After that we ordered our food & it came out reasonably quickly. The food was good - not great. After that we were completely ignored by the wait staff for the next 30 minutes. No water, no questions of how our meal was - nothing. After we had been in the restaurant for an hour and a half the server finally came by to see if we were ok. Then the power went out. The server came by and said they would hand write our check and be back shortly. The next 30 minutes went by with nobody helping their customers. The kitchen staff sat at the bar talking, the hostess was cleaning and resetting tables while ignoring the customers - and the wait staff were nowhere to be found. Apparently it takes over 30 minutes to hand write a check. Where was the management checking on their customers or helping out their clearly new staff? Why were the hostesses (or manager?) worried about cleaning tables that weren't going to be used again until the dinner rush? Why was the entire staff of the restaurant ignoring the customers that they are paid to serve? My business lunch took over 2 hours. The food was ok, but it was easily the worst service I've received in decades. I won't be back.

Ok, so this should be 2 stars, but since they rectified the bad experience, I will keep it at a neutral 3 stars. We ordered lunch to go. 1 cheeseburger, 1 kids meal and one person just ordered a side of fries. We called in the order and they said it would be 15 minutes. I go to pick up the order and the bartender (who took my order) told me that the kids meal we ordered was no longer available (obviously she did not know the menu or she would have told me that on the phone). So she put the order in as a full size meal (way to big) and it came to 11 dollars. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes (40 minutes from when I placed the order). I went with it and what makes me angry is the bartender did not even apologize for the delay or even make an attempt to make up for not having the kids meal we originally placed. (Offer other choices or modify something to be close to what we ordered for the kids meal price). Anyway, my colleague was angry about it and went back later that afternoon and spoke to the manager. They rectified it to where we were happy. Just poor customer service, but the manager made it right.

You know that commercial for the dog treats where the dog starts going, "Bacon, bacon, I smell bacon!"? That's the way I get about buffalo/bison meat. So, from the get go, Ted's already has a distinct advantage since they offer bison for most of their dishes. The staff is very friendly and generally knowledgeable about the menu. And what a menu it is. Every dish I have ever had there has been cooked perfectly and I never have left overs because I can't help but finish the entire meal, even if my belly is about to explode. The one thing that is kind of a downer is the long wait times during lunch. Ted's did their research and put the restaurant in an area that had no good restaurants extremely close by so everybody heads over there for lunch. But that's the price I'll pay for delicious, savory bison.

Oh Ted's... how I love thee... your burgers, specifically the Skinny Dip, are delicious and leave nothing to be desired... except maybe a side of onion rings with that delightful horseradish sauce. I've been a fan since I started going to Ted's when I lived at home with my parents, now my dad and I go for a random lunch and it's always fantastic. I will say, on very random occasions, my burger is a bit salty, but don't let that deter you. Ted's is my favorite burger place.

Ted's is very good, very tasty, and this location is exceptionally pleasant for a late lunch. Weekdays or Saturdays between 1-4, the place is quiet, the wait staff is extra attentive, and prices aren't as high as dinner. Also, you're cheating yourself if you don't try the onion rings and their associated sauce. Takeout isn't very impressive, though, especially for onion rings, which seem to go gooey. Just wish the prices were a bit less.

The absolute worst Ted's location I have been to. The service was horrible, partially because the staff was oblivious, and partially because she was pretty much the only server for half the restaurant. I've been to several other Ted's and usually have something on the menu other than a burger, but this night I decided to try the Red Rock Burger. It was the blandest most flavorless burger that I have ever had, despite having jalapeños and pepper jack cheese, cilantro (supposedly I didn't see any) and onion straws on it. My fries were WAY over salted and came in small number. We spent more time waiting for our check and drink refills than it took for them to cook and us to eat our meals. I will not recommend this location, we won't be back.

Well, well. Ted's, like any other place has many positives and some negatives. If you are a greyhound fan (grapefruit and vodka), this is the place as they use fresh grapefruit juice and it is worth a trip. The food is semi mediocre. If burgers are your cup of tea then try the bison burger, they are tasty, however there are better places in town. Overall, it's a chain restaurant that puts out a decent product. I don't think this place has any bragging rights about being the best of ..... Well anything, except for the greyhounds. The service is decent and waiters do a fine job. Thinking back, it was a bland, cookie cutter type of experience. Not a bad place, just lacks creativity and fun. PS: if you do go on the weekend the parking lot fills up fast but there are usually spaces behind the restaurant (little hidden secret)

No more lunch specials, but who really cares anyway? These burgers are dynamite! Think my favorite is the mushroom Swiss burger. So juicy and topped with a dollop of sour cream it's mouth watering and so satisfying. It's busy with the tech center lunch crowd during the week, so be prepared to wait or just check it out on the weekend!

This is a time when I wish there were 1/2 stars! The hubs kept hyping this place up to me ... he went to the one by the airport during our last trip here (a busienss lunch so I wasn't there) and he swore it was THE best burger he's ever had. So of course when we came back, this was the place we had to eat at first! We went to this location since it was by our hotel ... but from what we experienced and what his coworker says - the one by the airport is tons better. It's a nice area, friendly staff ... they give you a little dish of homemade pickles - thick and fresh, but imo needed to be pickled a few more days! we shared a bowl of the buffalo chili - it was ok, not really any spicy kick to it or anything, but it was good. We both ordered buffalo burgers medium rare. These suckers are huge and juicy but these were very RARE. The middle was red not pink ... and a little mushy like raw meat in the very center. Ate it anyways - i've eaten carpccio so i'm not afraid of a little raw meat! haha It was good ... but didn't live up to the hype that my husband and his coworker spoke of. The meat was bland ... needed salt and seasonings. i ordered mine with mushrooms, grilled onions and pepperjack cheese ... the grilled onions made my bun so soggy it was falling all over the place. The next day we had dinner with his coworker that took my hubby to the one by the airport and told him about our experience ... he said he ONLY goes to the one by the airport. so maybe we'll try that location next time we're in town!

Hey, yum! I got take out tonight while I'm doing the business trip/hotel sad dinner thing and along with great service, I enjoyed the classy but not pretentious decor, crushed ice (you know you love it) and complimentary cucumbers. I don't even eat cucumbers, both those were delish. I love that everything is a little different and more special than you expect. I have the fish sandwich, fries, coleslaw and squash casserole and they are great. I don't eat coleslaw, but this one is good! I didn't really dig the squash, but to put it in perspective I love Boston Market's. Maybe I'm not the best judge? It is fresh and clean tasting though, I just wanted cheese and mush. I'm loving the meal and planning to come back while I'm in town - there is too much tempting stuff on that menu!! Pretty good!

Ya know how the manager always comes over to ask how everything is before you get a chance to take your 1st bite of anything good? Is that by design?? When the manager passed by THE SECOND TIME, I flagged her down to tell her about the food. Turns out she only asks out of obligation. Otherwise, burger & salmon dishes were a'ight. Fish sauces - tartar & je ne sais quoi! - were pretty bad, but the salmon was bland/watery without. FRESH INGREDIENTS!! That's most certainly the highlight. That, plus the setting - the ambiance is the best, outdoors on a sunny weekday. Inside was inviting too. Come to think of it, I really dug our waitress's honesty about menu items too. So, in all, Ted's rocks! ...If only it didn't give off that sinking ship vibe - that they know their customers'd be happier if only they'd lower the prices, but they're in some bind with ownership / rent / whatev. But I'm prolly reading too much into it - it's prolly the type of customers in the Prominade that set employees' moods(?) I'ma try them out for happy hour some sunny Friday & see if it's as fun as I think it'll be. Until then, keep them pickle bowls full!

I liked the lemonade, and generally the food their is okay. I have been here a few times, and it's been good before. However, tonight I had a real bad experience. My salmon was overcooked and I sent it back. I normally like to avoid sending things back if I can. But I ordered it medium rare and it came to me well done. had it been at least medium or even medium well I would have been fine. The waiter, said it was in the oven the same amount of time as the other two salmons (my brother and dad ordered salmon salad) but okay I'll send it back. Then I overheard the wait staff talking about the Salmon..."whats the deal with the Salmon"...and 15-20 minutes later I received a new Salmon except this time it was very very rare. Like sushi, I couldn't even cut into it, it was just undercooked, it was basically not even cooked. Unless the chef is a total idiot, this was a deliberate acting to mock me for sending the original back, and honestly I regret that didn't just put up with my OK, but overcooked Salmon, because this was truly insulting. This should never happen at all, let alone a restaurant like this.

We were there on a busy Saturday night. As busy as they were, the server was attentive and friendly. I had an awesome salad, and my son and husband had the bison burgers, which they couldn't stop raving about. I liked the attention paid to our environment. My one complaint is there is no Ted's Montana Grill on Oahu! Come to us, Ted!

Great place for Lunch in the Tech Center. The Burgers are great -especially the bison burgers. Also, when your not in the mood for a burger - get the special. I have had the chicken fried chicken, bison meatloaf, and the short ribs - all were awesome.

We've been to a few Ted's around town and liked them all, but this new one was our best experience yet! It's in the new "Landmark" development on the west side of I-25, between Orchard and Belleview, a cute little area that has a few open places to eat and drink, but will likely be much nicer as the new stuff comes open. As for Ted's - the menu is the same, but it's all good! All the ingredients are fresh, all the dishes from scratch and it comes through. Some ideas: - they have excellent chili - their lemonade is real good, even better when you get it as part of an arnold palmer - their burgers are awesome ( got for the bison!).. great buns and we just got plain baked potatoes, which were also real good. - good kids menu, our little guy got mac 'n cheese and a side of rice (don't ask), but ate, so we were happy. - we didn't get dessert this trip, but they are excellent, my favorite is their snickerdoodles, i'm glad i skipped this time ;-) - the service is excellent.. this one is brand new, and i mean BRAND new, so the ratio of staff to customers was like 2:1, which i enjoy, but hope they get busier so they remain in business. Good pricing and a nice comfy feel. Also - VERY eco-friendly.. some things we noticed: - paper straws and kids cups, no plastic there! - men's urinals are water-free, saving (according to the sign) 40k gallons per year! - women's toilets (the mrs. told me) have the choices of half-flush and full-flush, i'll let you figure out why Great place, reasonable prices and a good healthy bison burger!

We have eaten at other Ted's over the years, but the Greenwood Village is now our Ted's of choice. The Ted Turner haters should be aware that the franchise company was started with Ted Turner as a partner, and he is a bison rancher, so wants to promote the product. Each store is individually owned, with strict franchise rules. We enjoy the food and the service is always prompt, friendly, and accurate. This one is larger than the Aspen Grove restaurant, and we like that better. We like the bison things we have had, but we love to go on Sunday for the turkey dinner. Real turkey, not some rolled breast. You get white meat and dark meat, dressing, mashed potato and gravy and one side. The menu says comes with green beans, but you can sub another side. It also comes with a very small dinner roll. I could really eat two of them, but they are rich and buttery. We went today and as usual, all was very good. I like that they are 99% plastic free. We have not used the carry out boxes, but they do not use the typical Styrofoam or plastic. The straws are paper, not plastic. Small things, but they are really important. The prices are not cheap, but not expensive either. We like it and will keep going. DP

Ted's Montana Grill is a great place to get Buffalo. Not had Buffalo? Go get some. Nice steak house for a chain. Hearty food, very good tasting. I like the paper straws and table cloth. Nice experience for a basic evening meal. This location is a little family centric. Busy restaurant and a little noisy. Kansas City Strip Buffalo tastes great every time.

Went for lunch and experienced some truly horrible service. For one thing, I love a good burger, and IMO My Brothers Bar and Cherry Cricket have better burgers. I decided to order the Meat Loaf sandwhich, while others in our party had the Bison and beef burgers while another had the salmon. I ordered a Sierra Nevada to go w/ my sandwhich. Our waiter brought me a Stella before he realized it was wrong. No biggie, he was back quick with what I'd ordered. Then the meals came...everyone's but mine. No worries...sometimes this happens even though it wasn't particularly busy when we'd ordered. 5 minutes later our waiter came and asked if I'd not received my sandwhich yet. Well dude, you're our waiter...if anyone should know other than me, it should be you! No, I haven't had it yet. The rest of my party is half-way finished with their lunches and I've not had a french fry. He returned a moment later saying it would be right out. At this point, I'm out of beer trying to get my caloric intake for lunch up since I may not have solid food for lunch. So, I order another beer. He brings me a Newcastle, what the guy to my right is drinking...never asked what my beer was. OK, Now I'm pissed. I don't hate Newcastle, but I didn't want one. I still don't have my sandwhich. Finally, my sandwhich comes from the outdoor patio! I'm not sure if they took it away from someone or what. Truly puzzling. It wasn't cold, and it was decent. Finally, the check. The waiter was kind enough not to charge me for the sandwhich which is a very nice gesture. Unfortunately, the check's fubar. He charged me for one beer while charging the guy to my right who origanally was drinking Newcastle for two beers even though I had a Newcastle when the waiter screwed up and brought me the wrong beer. So, he had to re-calculate everything. Well, the re-calculation was wrong. I now got charged for two Newcastles, (.50 cents more than my Sierra Nevada--no biggy but after everything else...come on) my friend to my right got charged for a Blue Moon, (even though he had Newcastle) and my friend to my left got charged for my Sierra Nevada. (even though he had Blue Moon--btw, he saved .25) So, I know people have bad days. I know service on one trip doesn't equate to service there all the time. But, in my book, even though everyone else in my party had nearly perfect service until the check, I have no reason to go here again. There are better burgers in town with far better service. I can't recall going to a place where everything I asked for was screwed up. Food's decent though.

Chains aren't really my thing, but Ted's may still be small enough to keep the quality right where it needs to be. This Landmark location is nice, but always seems to be crowded. (Amazing considering that Landmark is still really getting off the ground!) Most everything at Ted's is good, but I like the Bison Burgers best. The onion rings are one of the best in town, so order some to start. Make sure to go early for lunch or have reservations.

We had dinner here and the service was terrible, food was pre-cooked and covered in butter. This experience was 1 star but I've had lunch here a couple of times and Lunch service was good and burgers are solid so I gave them an extra star but this was my last meal at Teds. Totally disappointed!

My first time going to a Ted's was not a disappointment. I ordered the "Red Rock" bison burger and it was really good. The meat was so tender and cooked just right. The toppings were a bit lacking though. The service was wonderful and the waiter did everything in their power to make us happy. The downside to this location is that the space was limited and cramped. It was a puzzle just trying to make it to the restroom. Otherwise it was a good place to dine.

Service was decent and the food was ok. Nothing spectacular but nothing too bad either. Seems to be a run of the mill chain type restaurant...think of it as an Outback with bison on the menu but food quality is about the same. Decor is nicer than an outback but decor doesn't make a restaurant in my opinion it's the food. Don't come here looking to be impressed.

We have been dining at this particular location since it's opening. Our last two experiences will be.... well our last especially after last night. The service has been horrible, disrespectful and lacking in any type of class. The hostess last night had little to no tact, class or courtesy. She made us feel as if it were a privilege to be in her presence and then disregarded any of the traditional formalities. She was a flat out B! Several of the guests around us were ignored by the wait staff and like us had to physically get up to find our designated wait staff after being seated for over 10 mins. We were all very patient in waiting for water... Then again for our drinks... Then again for our order... and then poof the food came out in less than five minutes which was great. However, after finishing our meal and our drinks still half full, we felt immediately pressured to leave because they needed the table. Oh, I can't forget being cranked in the head by a chair leg as one of the wait staff was relocating chairs while setting up a table for five. "Sorry about that sir," but nothing more. We will not be back to this location under any circumstance. There are plenty of other option in and around Landmark for us to spend our time and money.

Ay chihuahua, this place is more expensive than I thought it would be! I've had decent experiences here both times I've been but nothing outstanding, especially when I see the bill. I know they have bison and nice selection on their menu but the frugal girl in me just can't justify spending $15 on a burger, much less one that doesn't come with a soup or salad beforehand or bottomless fries or kale salad--throw me a bone! I dig that they have a Skinny Dip Burger, basically a burger with a bun with avocado, tomato and kale salad plus their complimentary pickles are always nice and service has always been top notch but those three things can't make me a total fan. It's especially sad working across the street from here because it would be a great lunch spot but no lunch specials so yeah, I won't come back unless I have a gift certificate and thats being generous. They may be hurting soon since theres a burger spot being built three doors down from them in the old Ali Baba's space so hopefully Teds will step up their game and offer food at a more reasonable price. Until then, it's time to leach on to the money makers at work and hope for an expensed lunch!

I have been to Ted's many many times, particularly the one in DTC. And truthfully, both the service and the food are always inconsistent. Tonight I had the worst meal I've ever had there, and I will not be going back. Over $50+ completely wasted. We got some food to-go, 2 dinners of beef filets, potatoes, and asparagus. The asparagus was so grainy I literally could not eat more than 1 piece. Whatever kind of salt they used is absolutely terrible and felt like I was chewing on sand. My beef filet had an incredibly weird taste to it, like bloody or mineral-like, I honestly can't describe it. Maybe it was old? Maybe it was a bad cut of the meat? For sure the worst steak I've had. Worse than Outback Steakhouse, kid you not. The little bread roll was super hard and also soggy from being inside the to-go box with the other food. The sweet potato was only thing worth eating. Seriously the management at this place needs a fixer-upper, or they need new restaurant staff all together, because every other time I come to Ted's it's either disappointing because of the food, or disappointing because of the service. The only thing that has kept me coming back is the bison and that's just not enough anymore.

I always want to love this place, and our office is so close that it's a convenient pick, but oye - the service can be so slow! I'm typically not in a rush to get in and out of restaurants when dining out, but I think you need to be cognizant of the work crowd and that people actually do need to get back to the office. And to no fault of Ted's - I seem to just be getting tired of the heavy menus - especially at lunch time. The burgers, the sliders, the nachos, etc., so I have a hard time finding something on the menu that appeals to me. I ended up setting for the soup & salad which was underwhelming as expected. Maybe I need to try this place at dinner, but even still - I'm hesitant. And because this place isn't cheap - if I'm going to shell out that much dough, I may as well head on over to Morton's for one of the best burgers ever, or Elway's that has the best bison ribeye ever.

This place is so hot and cold so I had to give it 3 stars. 3 stars for having a perfect experience one time and 3 subpar experiences. It's just a tough place to figure out. I've written in a couple times. One time, they even sent me vouchers to return and we did. Still, it just felt like the waitstaff did not care about the table they were serving, including us. The food comes out nice and hot. On the other hand, we seem to get the waiter or waitress to conveniently forget things. This has happened all but once. I haven't heard more apologies in a restaurant experience up till now. In any case, your experience will vary and sometimes it will be a bipolar experience. Strap in and buckle up and try to enjoy the ride.

Dinner here was lovely. Our Waiter was very fun too. We all ordered Bison, two people got the ribs and they looked to-die-for. I got the pot roast & my hubby had a steak. Both of ours were cooked beautifully and tasted great.

A standard barbeque chain. The New Mexico bison burger just tasted like a normal beef burger, just less flavorful, relying heavily on portion size and a whole ton of toppings to cover it's nearly $20 price tag. Both desserts we tried felt like they were pre-packaged and frozen. I was not overall terribly impressed. The place also has a very "chain-restaurant" feel, you walk in and the first thing you see is a glass case full of merchandise. Wouldn't come again, probably even if the prices were okay.

Love Ted's! The burgers are fantastic (try the #11) and the bison chili is great (Make certain you get the cheese and fresh jalapeños on the side). Service at this location can be spotty, but the free pickles help overcome this. For desert you've got to try the fresh cookies. They're soft/moist... A must!

You just can't go wrong with a Ted's. Great prime rib. Trust that if nothing else. I met some friends here for dinner on a Saturday night. I arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink. I ordered a Manhattan and it was made very well. The bartender, host, and server were all very nice and accommodating. The prime rib was what I ordered, and I was very happy with it. I also really liked the broccoli I chose as my side, it was seasoned lightly and very fresh. They have consistently good food, and I've never had a bad experience at any Ted's. This was my first trip to this particular franchise, but I'm likely to return.

I love the burgers, my wife loves the trout and meatloaf, my 10y/o son loves the sliders and my 7y/o daughter loves the chicken tenders. This is a blue jean casual, paper table cloth, lots of wood and brass- lots of booths- music and flowers in the bathroom kind of place. Good casual fare if your definition of casual is above pizza, Chillis or Smashburger. Food is consistant. Service at DTC needs some work but gets the job done. Nothing to write home about but its a good safe place thats not crowded where you can get a glass of OK wine and some good beef and bison dishes.

I am a fan of Ted's! Buffalo burgers, chili, prime rib - all are delicious. The staff is always great and the location in DTC is very convenient to work and home. The only complaints I have here are: 1. Our table in the bar area wasn't very clean. Caked on dust on the light fixtures at eye height looked disgusting. 2. The only television in the bar is older than the restuarant and needs to be replaced. Minor items, but I hope they will address them asap.

Went for lunch today. The restaurant was busy and we were on about a 10 minute wait to be seated. I used this time to check out the restrooms which were clean, and orderly. The restaurant was busy and there was a good vibe throughout. The bussers were busy clearing tables, which only sat empty for about 15 - 20 seconds once cleaned. Our hostess was very delightful and engaged my party in conversation as she walked us to our table. Once we were all seated she handed each of us a menu and informed us that our server will be with us shortly. She was not overly friendly, but definitely started off our meal on the right foot. Our server arrived and got our drink order after suggesting an appetizer. about 3 minutes later our beverages arrived, including our 6 bar beverages. Our server answered what questions we had with a great insight and suggested that we try the bison dishes as that is what they are known for. I chose the Bacon Cheeseburger with Gruyere based upon our server's suggestion. Our lunch arrived in a timely manner ( 12 minutes ) and was served hot and clearly had not been sitting under heat lamps. The burgers were amazing!!! They were full of flavor and were cooked perfectly. Our server checked back on us and dropped the check. I found this a little frustrating because we felt a little rushed and we were planning on having some of their famous cheesecake. Once we were done with our meals the plates were cleared quickly and unobtrusively. We ordered the cheesecake and it was even better than I had expected!! The manager visited the table and checked on our satisfaction. He was also assisting the host stand, walking the bar, and spent some time on the expo line, making sure that every aspect of their operations was running to expectations. Clearly, the staff here takes pride in what they do, and it reflects in their attitudes and in the easy relaxed way that they executed a very busy lunch. It was a great pleasure to have lunch here and we will definitely be back both for lunch and for dinner sometime soon!!

Went for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The sushi restaurant next door was packed and this Ted's was empty, which should have tipped me off, but I wasn't in the mood for sushi in Colorado. We ordered two ice teas, the bison chili nachos and the bison sliders in keeping with the Ted's theme and because I won't order a burger that costs $12-$15. Our server was very nice, but bordered on being too perky. The first dish to arrive were the nachos which were very second rate, with chips out of a bag, a teaspoon of sour cream, liquid cheese like at the ball park and a smattering of bison chili that tasted like ground beef and tomato sauce. Next up were the bison sliders. The meat portion was very generous, but again, if you didn't know it was bison, you would have thought it was hamburger. The buns were very good, tasted fresh baked, and were very buttery and yummy. Which begs the question, if you are making buns, why aren't you making chips or using real cheese for the nachos? What's easier? I loved the free pickles, but we never got refills on our ice teas. This is the first time I have ever been to a Ted's Montana Grill. I guess it's more in the Outback spectrum than the Chili's spectrum, but you get the sense that it aspires to be more than that. Unfortunately, it just misses the mark for me, but I would assume it would be better for dinner, and I probably would try it again.
